Make use of the triangle honeycomb space in your base with the 6x fully automated electric furnaces.
NOTE - I recommend upgrading your honeycomb walls to the desired grade (i.e: metal) before setting up the pipe system as upgrading afterwards can mess up the pipes and you would have to replace them!
I have seen videos with 4x electric furnaces in a triangle before, but this shows how to place 6x electric furnaces and how to wire them up with the pipe system, making a fully automated system to smelt your ores.
