Shepherd Market, is truly a HIDDEN GEM! We were lucky to stumble onto this hidden charming square in the heart of Mayfair. And it was not even part of our trip plan! We start from Hyde Park corner and then as per plan, walk along Piccadilly towards Green park. On the way we cover the posh restaurants and high-street hotels along with some glimpses of the beautiful St James park. But then Google maps shows us this small market in the vicinity, and we decide to take a detour, and we were in for a treat!
Shepherd Market is a charming small square and piazza with a variety of boutique shops, restaurants and impressive Victorian pubs. This unique little enclave is tucked away between Piccadilly and Curzon Street, in the heart of London's Mayfair. A hidden gem known for its wonderful relaxed village-like atmosphere.
