2024 Season Finale: Epic Last-Minute Adventure Through WV! 🌲🏍️💨

My 2024 riding season didn’t end as planned… it ended even better! 🏍️🌧️ When storms canceled my trip to the Ohio Windy 9 and my riding partner dropped out, I had to make a quick decision—cancel everything or ride solo into the unknown.

With only hours to decide, I packed up and rode into West Virginia, determined to make the most of my season finale. Torn between riding the Infamous Adventure Trail, tackling the MABDR, or just winging it, I took an unexpected turn. Thanks to a GPX route from the Western PA Dual Sport Riders Facebook group, I set out on the Laurel Highlands Cheat River Loop—and what an adventure it was!

From rocky technical terrain to breathtaking Cheat River views, this last-minute ride turned into one of my best trips of the year. Join me as I camp along the road, navigate rugged trails, and close out the 2024 season in the best way possible—on two wheels, chasing adventure.
