This video is about the best-fitting and optimal sized quick change tool post for this specific lathe.
In this video I talk about the Multifix Type AB having an 18mm hole underneath and that it perfectly fits the TU2004v lathe's tool post without modification. The hole in question is the upper case 'T' value in the chart on the seller's eBay page. Note that this is not the lower case 't' value which refers to the threaded section of the post.
According to a viewer who has since purchased this post from the same seller, it now comes with a 22mm hole and will require a bushing to be made to fit the 2004v lathe. Making a bushing is easier than having to bore out the Multifix base, so don't be put off by this.
Regardless, I suggest asking the seller if he has a base with an 18mm 'T' hole available. If he doesn't then he will probably give you a suitable bushing to fit if you ask.
I'm not connected with any sellers, but these are only sold by the one guy in China, so you'll be dealing with him anyway if you get this.
