Beginning a Ramsbottom on the East Lancs Railway we see class 24 action with a dining train before a double helping of the astounding Duke of Gloucester as it ploughed it’s unique furrow up and down the West Coast Mainline, then a trio of Charters pass through Dornock on the Solway Firth.
Then is across to Oxenhope and Haworth on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, bisected by a jaunt up to ‘Top Withins’ to get a bit of Yorkshire air!
A lovely class 14 leaves Oxenhope northbound with steam at the rear and finally a black 5 is pushed back into the shed for the night.
Cheesy music choices again but two amazing performances by amazing musicians again.
Obviously a bit on the long side but that’s how it rolls sometimes.
