Road to Swannanoa originated with songwriter Jack Presbury who lives in North Carolina.
He sent me a song he thought needed a final verse. I thought it was pretty complete as it was. The subject was Hurricane Helene hitting Swannanoa NC, the home of the Swannanoa Gathering, in 2024. I did a little checking and realized that part of NC was still recovering nearly a year after the storm. There was more to the story to be told, so I was able to contribute that final verse. It was great to work with Jack once again! Posted for the one anniversary of Helene hitting Western North Carolina.
