Elite Force CQCX Integrated tracer unit "Eyetrace" AEG, Review

Hey everybody welcome back to another episode of Muddy Reviews, in this video we are checking out the Elite Force CQCX "Eye Trace" AEG. This was sent over to me from Elite Force to check out and review and I am glad they did. As far as new Airsoft products go this is a pretty cool one. The EF CQCX has an integrated tracer unit directly in the Hop-Up, now I know this isn't exactly revolutionary and there have been tracer Hop-Ups before but the Eyetrace hop is different in that fact it has a switch in the unit that allows you to turn it on and off. One of the downsides is the fact that it is always on as it is a bit of a battery sucker.

We ran EF .20 & .25 tracer BBs through this thing during testing as well as EMG .25 tracer BBs. All the tracer BBs worked well, my son seemed to think the EMG BBs were brighter but I didn't see a difference. The CQCX Eyetrace retails for 269.00$ USD and you can find them on the EF website here:

I didn't have a lot of negatives with this AEG and this actually surprised me, to be honest. It is a newer item and usually, Gen 1s of something are buggy as hell but this worked exactly as advertised. It is a polymer AEG and that may be a turn-off for some players but it feels really nice and solid for being Polymer. I do wish that EF had put a QD in the stock to match the QD on the MLOK rail on the front but a new stock is an easy upgrade and the fact it seems to have a standard buffer tube makes that pretty simple. I can tell you I tried a real MAGPUL CTR stock on it and it was legit.

I really hop you guys enjoyed this review of the EF CQCX EyeTrace AEG, I think this is a great CQB gun and excellent for those players who frequent an indoor field. As always folks get out there and play some Airsoft, LARP smarter, NOT harder, and above all else take care.
