In this video, I went for a busfan ride on the X37. You will see the entire ride from the point of view of the bus operator.
The X37 express bus runs from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn to Midtown Manhattan. It is a popular alternative to the slow and unreliable R train. In this clip, the bus begins on 5th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. At 23rd Street, it makes a left and heads to the FDR Drive. Initially, the bus is sluggish on the FDR due to an accident. Once it gets past the accident, it hauls ass. The bus then enters the Hugh Carey Tunnel and Gowanus Expressway beside terminating in bucolic Bay Ridge.
