Clarity now displays the Investment/Finish dates in the Allocation dates so that resource managers don’t see empty rows when planning future allocations.
You can now use the Show Indicator on Non-Default Values option to display visual indicators when the default values of the following attributes are updated.
You can now clear the value in a Total or Per-Period cell to reset it. Clearing the cell enabled Clarity to recompute the amount using the current 'Default Allocation % associated with the resource.
Administrators can now use the Display Availability and Remaining Availability Amounts for Roles system option to ignore non-zero values in the ‘Availability’ and Remaining Availability fields for roles within the Roles workspace and Staffing workspaces.
The Resource ‘Availability’ Per-Period Metric field is now available in the Staffing grid. This enables investment managers to analyze a staff member’s availability for specific periods in the Staff grid.
The Resource Summary Mode displays staffing data with a histogram based on configured thresholds and is crucial for visualizing workforce distribution effectively. This mode enables quick identification of staffing levels across different skill sets and departments, helping managers make informed decisions on resource allocation.
The Resource Reallocation and Resource Replacement capabilities have been enhanced to ensure they support partial reallocation and partial replacement. Partial allocation ensures that Clarity only updates allocations within the specified date range and allocation percentage.
You can reset scenario changes by using the new action bar to reset all the changes you made to the selected investments in the scenario. You can use the Select All and Deselect All actions in action bar to adjust your selections before publishing the scenario.
The Resource Histogram has been enhanced to display a grey color in the timeline. The grey color helps to identify values that do not go over or under the configured threshold settings. Hence, you can quickly identify the staff without utilization since they will be non-colored. Let’s consider a use case where the Over Allocation Threshold is set to 125% and the Over Color is set to Red. The Under Allocation Threshold is set to 85%, and the Under Color is set to Green.
