Wet-on-Wet is one of my favorite technique. In this real time video, you can follow along with me and paint a simple leaf using the method. It takes some time to figure out how much water to use. It depends on the paper, the watercolor paints, and your painting style. So take some time and do this exercise a couple times until you feel comfortable with it.
At the end of the video, you will see a leaf wreath that I painted within an hour using the exact same steps. Feel free to come up with your own design and have fun painting!
