Learning To Digitize Our Own Designs!

The good, the bad, and the ugly on…

embroidery! It caught my eye early on in our small business journey. Something about the embroidered apparel always looked so good and polished. However, we knew nothing about the sewing or embroidery world, and it felt so expensive to get into. 😓

Fast forward, and now we are fully embracing this craft. I binge-watched YouTube videos on embroidery and came across @embroiderylegacy, where I grew an understanding of the theory behind embroidery and how to digitize our own designs. We launched a holiday collection of the very first embroidered crewnecks and learned so much in a short amount of time. 🙇‍♀️

The biggest challenge by far has been all the troubleshooting required to get to the final embroidered crewnecks. From getting the embroidery files on the machine to thread breaks, too many jump cuts, incorrect tension, and so much more. But, as we’ve overcome each of these challenges, we’ve become more confident and proud of the final products we’re creating. 🙌
