So I've recently been RSPB Leighton Moss to do a YouTube video which isn't out yet, but whilst I was there I decided to spend a few hours after dark giving these Hadbrook Pro HQ 50l thermal imaging binoculars try
So, as the sun set I made my way down to the causeway hide to start my journey around the reserve in the dead of Night.
It was so good to see all the deer coming down from the hills and the woods into the reserve to feed, there were red deer Roe deer and I'm sure the fallow deer will have come down at some point as well.
It was just amazing to see the sky alive at night with the bats, there were literally I don't know hundreds of bats flying around the reserve, skimming the water,r grabbing insects and grubs, absolutely amazing.
In the lower hide I was fortunate enough to watch the Otter as it made its way across the lake hunting for fish coming up on the embankment before disappearing into the reeds.
As I walked around the reserve, I visited all the hides in the reserve and at every single hide there was red deer.
I finished my walk around the reserve by going up onto the sky tower and taking a look across the whole reserve through the Habrok Pro HQ50L thermal imaging binoculars are being able to see all the wildlife in the reserve and the fields that were glowing up as warm objects.
A truly wonderful few hours in reserve, just showing a different view, I suppose, aspect to the wildlife that you don't normally get to see.
As for the thermal imaging binoculars that wildlife camp had loaned me for a few weeks, absolutely fantastic piece of kit, can't recommend them enough.
So if you're interested, just get over to Wildlife Cam, send Paul an e-mail or chat on the website, I'm sure they'll sort you out a great deal on a pair of thermal imaging binoculars. https://www.wildlifecam.co.uk/product...
