Welcome Home by Coheed & Cambria Full Band FC

I recently decided to play some CoCa during our latest plug.dj session, and holy shit, I completely forgot how awesome this band is. In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 would rank very high on my top ten albums of all time list, and it would have been perfect if this song had somehow snuck on there. Usually I'm not a fan of slathering classical instruments on hard rock and metal, but it really seals the dark, atmospheric, even storytelling nature of the song.

So good do I think this song is that its use in the trailer of 9 sold me into seeing that in theaters. That's not blind fanboyism at acknowledgement of one of my favourite bands; this song's tone is just that good. And it's a good thing too, because if I had heard about the ending to 9 before seeing it, I would have condemned the entire production. The movie is generally great up until the saccharine non-ending.

It's also one of the very, VERY few songs where the censored version is better. "Whore in sheep's clothing" just makes no sense because it's not an expression. Why would a prostitute need to dress up like a sheep to fool them?
