EPIC : The Musical IMMERSIVE LYRIC VIDEO - Full Musical

Hey everyone! As you can tell, this isn't normally the kind of video I post here. However, I stumbled across this musical a few months back and absolutely fell in love with it. All the passion and enthusiasm that went into it's creation has completely denied the odds and came out victorious. It's been my obsession as of late!

I wanted to create a lyric video for this that helps to create an immersive experience that elevates the story and emotions, without being too distracting for the viewers. I wanted to preserve a "book-like" quality where much of the visuals are still left to the viewer's interpretation and imagination. This video covers the entire musical, and helps tell the story through unique and consistent text colors for each character, recurring backgrounds that call back to previous moments in the musical, and dramatic text animations that react to the story and the vocalists performances. This was a huge project for me where I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone to try something new. I learned a lot, and definitely feel like I have improved as a storyteller and editor through this process.
