Relaxing Wolverley Village to Cookley Countryside POV walk Staffordshire Canal ASMR Nature sounds

A relaxing walk starting in the quaint Wolverley village which is nestled beside the Staffordshire / Worcestershire canal. A village with a rich industrial past and a peaceful present. Located near Kidderminster another beautiful Staffordshire village.

The POV walk takes in the historic canal, which was completed in 1772. The canal was a vital artery during the Industrial Revolution, connecting the Midlands to broader trade routes across England. Today, it's a tranquil haven for walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers.

The canal stretches from Stourport-on-Severn to Great Haywood, passing through picturesque countryside and historic towns.

During this walk you'll encounter Pubs, locks, bridges, and tunnels that date back to the 18th century, including the Cookley Tunnel,

The walk ends in Cookley previously a heavy industry village
