Welcome back to the channel — Mighty Mark Runner here!
This week I checked out Capestone Lake parkrun for the first time, and what a spot it is. The course loops around a stunning lake at Mango Hill, QLD — flat, fast, and perfect for chasing a PB. The atmosphere was awesome with friendly volunteers, plenty of energy, and a strong community vibe.
I had a great run, finishing in 19:41, placing 2nd overall out of 96 runners, and taking 1st place in my age category (VM45-49) with a 72.57% age grade. Super happy with the pacing and how smooth the course felt all the way around!
☕ Finished it off with a coffee at Degani Capestone with some fellow parkrunners.
