In this video I show some of the cameras that I have used over the years in my career. I have shot 35 mm film both negative and transparency, medium format 120 film and large format four by five inch also negative and transparency. Lots of the images wer published in Hallmark and other calendars as well as books amd magazines.

My Aunt, the one who gifted me my very first camera took me to watch a movie called "What now Miguel" it was about a young boy whose father had just passed away; my own father had just passed. The boy in the movie became an artist to support his family. It had a profound effect on me.
I seem to have reached a crossroad in my life as a photographer. I have used all types of cameras, from Minox 9mm to 35mm rangefinders and Single-Lens Reflex Cameras. The large format 4 by 5 inch is as large as I have worked with. We have traveled across North America, to Hawaii, and to Ireland in search of great photography opportunities. I am now 75 years old and wonder how to spend the rest of my years to best advantage. Van life presents many challenges, long drives, harsh conditions, and harder to find parkups.
I wonder what camera to concentrate on, film is increasingly expensive and pesents other challenges as well. Darkroom work can be tedious and there are health challenges as well. It really is something to think about as I move into the final stretch of my life.
