A mother and baby were lounging one day and across the buoys in the spring run. A small boat pulled in on the run. It scared the baby into the swim area. When she saw me crossing her line of sight to her Momma, she slowly moved my way, keeping an eye on me, as if my crossing would sever some invisible tether. I floated with the spring flow, and she cruised right by.
