This week’s discussion will take a lighthearted look at the overall trends in the oil industry and artificial lift specifically. We have invited a guest speaker to the team (Charles Jones) to deliver firsthand knowledge to the topic. We will have an overview of what we have seen from the service company side of things throughout 2024. This will cover the changes that have occurred as oil prices have recovered along with the changes that have resulted from inflation and supply chain tightening. These extreme scenarios have combined to affect the way operators are producing wells and how it has affected the general workflow of artificial lift selection. We will look at a general overview followed by a basin by basin look at these affects and give some analysis and commentary on each area.
