Join me for a peaceful walk through my May garden, now bursting into full bloom. In this video, I take you around some of my favorite flower borders and introduce the plants that bring them to life this season — vibrant azaleas, delicate bleeding hearts, bold tree peonies, architectural alliums, elegant clematis, and lush rhododendrons.
I also show you how I deadhead rhododendrons , plant clematis step by step, preparing the soil carefully to give them the best start. You’ll see how I create planting pockets and support structures, and I share a trick I use — pinching back dahlia shoots to encourage fuller flowering later in the season.
