A recent release from CERN's CMS(Compact Muon Solenoid) Collaboration has now estimated the mass of the Higgs Boson to be 125.38 GeV/c^2. This result is surprisingly close to the our prediction of 125.376(2) GeV/c^2.
Our prediction comes from relating the mass of the Higgs to the Planck mass and squaring the expression. This result was of the magnitude and first several significant digits to hbar(Planck's reduced constant) the elementary unit of action.
Further high precision results are required to support this conjecture but the recent release is quite encouraging.
