Animal Rescuer #3 - Finding Some Animals

I got the gist of the bosses and the different quest types.

The stupid thing with the quests is that the side quests in this game are no different from the main ones (usually a minimum of three location changes and then re-tracing the quest NPCs in reverse order). The Arena fighting (in the north Phalbreath or sth, accessible by a special boat guy) is much more practical and faster both for gaining experience and money.

1500 for an item? 600 for a dagger that requires you to beat a local boss just to get the sword needed to access the place? That is a lot. Granted, that one has the unique red crocodile that you probably need to reach to be able to complete the medallion and beat the game.

My advice would be to play the game this way:

1. Get to the Arena location.

2. Fight the first tournament opponent a couple of times to get some Walnut Bread money.

3. Try to beat the second last tournament for the Adizrosel (?) sword that is easy to use and good enough for end-game and beating the bosses in various locations.

4. Grind about 10 more copies of that sword for selling. That should get you 90k that is enough to end your monetary issues.

5. Optionally play the gem tournaments until you have 30 of every gem or you can just pick chests when needed. That way you will have enough to complete quests as needed. Though the quests requiring gems tend to be the Animal Hospital ones that give you inferior weapons to Adizrosel, so you do not really need to do any of them.

6. Find the animals on the map and cure one of each type.

7. Try to get into the dungeons of each map as they contain rare animal cages. Beat the required quest lines to get to the animals and cure them.

8. Once you have found all the animals and cleared all of the dungeons, you can probably go to that special location mentioned in the Medallion page showing your collected animals. It is Hankapuk Rocks or sth. There is a door there with a medallion-shaped hole. I have not got there yet, so I do not know what happens after that door.

9. That is it. You probably reach the trailer scene with the dude on a throne surrounded by animals.

P.S. I fail to find a yellow-condition fox. I know I have seen one because I have the cure for it. I wish I knew how to make money and to use the Herbalist to get the herbs without the gardens early on. I recall it could have been a caged fox at the end of a narrow coastal path blocked by enemies on some early island. Oh well, I will get to it soon enough.
