I'm Akif Cem Ozkardes and in this episode of The Left Agora, I’m joined by Atte Harjanne, a member of the Finnish Parliament from the Greens [Party] (Vihreät). In this episode, we talk about the ideological orientation of the Greens, and then move on to environmental issues, including nuclear energy. The interview then turns to security matters, in the context of Finland’s NATO membership and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. We conclude by exploring Harjanne’s personal journey and how his background as a climate and social impact researcher ultimately led him into politics.
