In this review, I’m taking a close look at the Adidas Adispeed 500 Limited Edition 2023 gloves in 14oz. I specifically chose this gray and black colorway for its genuine cowhide leather construction, which is a major step up from the synthetic PU found on the newer models. The multi-layer Cloud MVE foam offers a unique medium-to-soft density that is protective enough for sparring but still delivers an unexpected and satisfying pop on the bags and mitts. The ergonomics are excellent, featuring a pre-molded fit that hugs the hand perfectly, along with a moisture-wicking liner that actually keeps you cool. While I'm not a huge fan of the wear and tear on the plastic cuff or how the tilt design causes the laces to slip, at $109, these are still a killer deal for a high-performance glove.
