I’m gonna dive into why I think Oliver and toad wouldn’t get along so that’s why sir top hat made him use an orange break van. It only shows up once in that movie which later the orange brakevan would show up when Percy backs into one that was wheel, flattened, causing it to fall to pieces. So the next day after Oliver was pulling vans with the orange brake van. Oliver was sent to pull cargo to the docks. Oliver and toad had to split up because Oliver was being very reckless and the next day he was too after duck and Oliver pass each other. Both days the day where duck and Oliver pass each other. And the day after the big storm. As Oliver was being reckless the day after the big storm. As he was going to Brendam docks with his cargo and with his orange breakvan Oliver was going too fast and the brake van tried to slow him down for 20 seconds with its brakes on, and then it developed a wheel flat and had to be left on the line at Brendan docks. As Percy slowly chuffed away from Thomas cranky unloaded the cargo from Oliver. Once he was finished he had to leave the brakevan on the line. Then chuffed along, and then went into a siding to leave the cars behind as Porter was passing them. Then, as Percy rounded a bend, he mistook gator for a monster, and raced backwards and then chased Oliver back. Oliver raced into a siding. Then as Percy passed, he went right back out and dodged away from gator. Percy raced backwards being in a fright, and then he backed into the wheel flatted brake van. A dock worker tried to stop him by saying “STOP, Mind the wheelflatted brakevan!! Ohhhhhhhhhh” The brake van screeched, and it fell a little bit to pieces, but then as the brake van hit the greenhouse at the docks it started falling a lot further to pieces. This brake van crash is a reference to Percy‘s predicament where Percy races forward into a break van and then you can see it fall to pieces. But they hide that in the CGI series because they kinda wanna aim up towards little kids while the model series and Star Wars aimed towards big kids. Percy shouted that there’s a monster from the clay pits, which startled Cranky who drops eight loads of sand all over Thomas and the mysterious sand flies up in the air as Percy comes to a stop while backing into the wheel flatted brake van it eventually got harder to push and Percy was too tired to keep backing into the brake van so he closed his eyes and felt like he needed to be brave as the mysterious sand became into an unknown engine named gator. Also, cranky, kind of both purposely and accidentally dropped sand all over Thomas. He raced away, feeling scared. Blah blah blah he felt. In this film Percy has a valid reason to be scared which is when Thomas tells him about big footprints from the clay pits, causing him to enter a state of paranoid and not believing things so he’s actually right to be causing those 2 accidents. They’re not his fault. The brake van accident and the sand accident. but as you can see Percy feels bad in the end when he meets Gator. You can see his face that tells him he’s worried he’s gonna get in trouble and that he feels bad. Nobody treats that break a van crash as an actual crash because they don’t understand it which I do. I’m smart. Since people don’t treat that brake van crash as a real crash it’s not really included a lot in MV’s almost never.
