White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt defended the federal government's decision to freeze $2.2 billion in funding for Harvard University after the institution refused to agree to a proposal by members of the Trump administration implementing changes to the school’s programs, disciplinary practices, admissions operations and leadership.
