Welcome To The Jungle | Stranded: Alien Dawn - Part 1 (Settlement Survival - Saltu Region)

Stranded: Alien Dawn is a futuristic settlement survival game where we have to help a little group of people survive on an alien world after their ship crashes into it. Hang on, I've heard of that before!

OK, so comparisons to this game and Rimworld are inevitable, because Stranded: Alien Dawn is a bit like Rimworld but in 3D. There some differences here and there but I think saying it's like 3D Rimworld is acceptable, and that's fine with me because a 3D Rimworld sounds amazing!

After carefully selecting our survivors we see them crash down onto the planet Saltu, a hot and humid tropical jungle planet. Once they're over the shock of crash landing we get to work building a shelter and moving our resources into a lovely stockpile.

We also begin to explore things in the local area because we have no idea what anything is. Big pointy flowers! Gigantic grass! Meat bananas! They're all there!

We seem to muddle through OK, happening across only friendly wildlife, and our people are so happy they even throw a little party! Although it does seem that food is running low...
