"Look at all the water!" LAFD Fire Engines and LAX Airport Police on Scene after Car Crash

Los Angeles Fire Department Task Force 5 (Engine Company 5, Truck Company 5 and Engine 205) are seen here on the scene of a fire hydrant that has been struck by a car and destroyed. Also on scene is the Los Angeles World Airports Police in a Chevy Caprice Crime Scene Investigation Unit and a BMW R1200 RT-P. Other police officers were positioned farther away to block traffic.

While driving his car a man was arguing with his wife. He stopped the car and the wife got out, leaving the man behind. He decided to follow her and got out of the car but unfortunately he did not first put his car in "park" and the now driverless car drove off and struck the fire hydrant. There were no injuries.

The Los Angeles firefighters were eventually able to shut off the water.
