Verse 4:
He performed a miracle to convert the robber Angulimala.
Ukkhittakakkamatihatthasudharatantang,
Dhavantiyojanapatangkulimalavantang,
Iddhipisangkhatamano chitva tva munindo,
Tantejasa bhavatu te victorious auspicious victory.
The Supreme Sage, with his heart set on performing a miracle,
conquered the vicious robber Angulimala (with a garland of human fingers), who, skilled in swordsmanship, chased him for three yojana.
May all victory be yours by the power of the Buddha's victory.
