ಸಭಾಪತಿ ಬಸವರಾಜ ಹೊರಟ್ಟಿ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ‌ ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಚಾರ ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಸಲೀಂ‌ ಅಹ್ಮದ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಸೋಮವಾರ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್, ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸಮಬಲ ಇದೆ. ಪರಿಷತ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಖಾಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ‌ ಭರ್ತಿ‌ ಹೈಕಮಾಂಡ್ ತೀರ್ಮಾ‌ನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲ‌ ವಿಚಾರಗಳ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳು ಪಕ್ಷದ ವರಿಷ್ಟರ ಹೈಕಮಾಂಡ್ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಸಿಎಂ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ವಿಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸಿಎಂ ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಣೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ ಉಪಯೋಗ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.
Legislative Council member Salim Ahmed said that there is no proposal at present to change Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti.

Speaking to reporters in Belagavi on Monday, he said that the Congress and BJP have equal strength in the Legislative Council. Decisions regarding the filling of vacant seats in the Council will be taken by the party high command. All major decisions will be finalised by senior leaders and the high command, he added.

Responding to questions about a possible change of Chief Minister, he said that the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister have already clarified and spoken on the issue. There is no use in continuing discussions on the matter, he said.
