Painting a self portrait is perhaps the greatest test of an artist who likes to paint portraits. Using a reference photo on my phone, I show you my process from start to finish in this art lesson video. There is no talking, just smooth jazz music in the entire lesson. Sketched using an 8B graphite pencil and painted using water soluble gouache paints where each color is capable of layering and covering another color. My lessons are designed for you to watch repeatedly while observing my process, taking notes, painting along with me all the while listening to smooth jazz music. Enjoy !!
