If, like me, you want cruise control fitted in your Renault Master but don't like the idea of paying nearly £300 for an extra stalk to add to behind your steering wheel and more clutter/complicated wiring. This video might prove useful to you.
I did what homework needed done to help fit the cruise control to my van but no more than was necessary so I'm not an expert. I believe from my findings that this may also apply to Renault Mascott, Megan, Clio and Vauxhall Movano and Nissan NV400 vans too.
The electrical side of fitting the cruise control was literally as simple as plugging the switches in to the existing loom which can be found behind the switch cluster panel which I was modifying in this video. It should be noted that the cruise control worked without having to activate it by means of plugging in to the OBD port of the vehicle and enabling it as an available setting. However, the dash cruise control telltale light will not illuminate when in use as it should. I don't know if it can be activated through OBD.
Any thought, suggestions or corrections to anything I've said or written will be appreciated! Hopefully this video can help someone save time and money either doing the research through countless useless forums or buying an overpriced aftermarket stalk.
Thanks
