For one day only, the Severn Valley Railway held their 2025 Winter Diesel Day, this is an event that the railway has hosted for the past two years now. It was first held in 2023, later again in 2024 and 2025 has seen the event return for a third time.
The event saw a number of diesel locomotives in action along with both the Class 101 and 108 DMUs. There were two visiting locomotives in the shape of 37418 and 37508, and Steam Locomotives 7714 and 1450 were in use for steam heating. There were some interesting pairings.
This event was filmed at a few spots, starting off at Eardington Bank in the morning,later in the day we went to Highley. Then the day was rounded off at Kidderminster.
This was a good way to see out the year, this will be my final upload for the remainder of 2025. I'll see you all in 2026. Take care, be safe and most of all, have a Happy New Year.
