Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (2024) Base Danger Scene with healthbars

Plot:

Robotnik, Stone, and Team Sonic arrive at the base via a Ring, Robotnik tries to open the door, but Knuckles breaks it down. Shadow prepares for a fight, but Gerald tells them to give them a "warm welcome". Sonic and the others split up, with Sonic taking one pathway and Tails and Stone taking another. Knuckles is caught by Shadow, who kidnaps them. Meanwhile, Stone and Tails are walking through another tunnel, with the former admitting that he finds Tails adorable. Shadow then appears from behind them and kidnaps them. Sonic and Robotnik enter a room where they discover Shadow has a family. Sonic asks Robotnik about his family, but the doctor rejects the idea. Sonic enters the room where Shadow used to be kept, only for the latter to ambush and knock him out.

Robotnik finds stolen drones and introduces himself as Gerald Robotnik, Robotnik's grandfather. Despite their resemblance, Robotnik doesn't believe they are relatives and begins interrogating Gerald. After answering each question correctly, Robotnik convinces him and hugs him. Gerald leads Robotnik to the location where Team Sonic and Agent Stone are tied up in chains. As he regains consciousness, SShadow meets Eggman and Team Sonic identifies Gerald as the culprit behind Shadow's escape and the attack on Walters. Shadow takes the key to G.U.N. from Team Sonic, claiming that he and Gerald will use it to take back everything G.U.N. took from them. Gerald tells Robotnik that two keys are required to fire the Eclipse Cannon, which is locked in G.U.N. Headquarters. Robotnik agrees to join him, and they set off with Stone aboard the Mecha Crab.

Sonic pleads with Shadow not to let his pain change who he is inside, but Shadow tells him that he has spent fifty years reliving what G.U.N. did to Maria and that his pain has shaped him into who he is. He drops a small, marble-like device before teleporting away. It starts pulling Team Sonic in, but Knuckles grabs a rope with his teeth, while Sonic uses one of Tails' rings to open a portal. They managed to narrowly escape, ending up on a cliff where they watched the last of the base being swallowed up by the black hole.
