Sewing Facing to Curved Necklines. The most important thing to remember about sewing a curved neckline is not to stretch the fabric as you sew. In this tutorial I describe and demonstrate how I match up the facing to the neck edge, pinning along the back, over the shoulder, from one end to the other. Once complete, I show you how to sew a curved seam on a sewing machine and then how to trim and grade.
