Responding to a question from a student about the escalating war between Israel and Hamas, Tufts University's Professor Abiodun Williams says he draws "strength, hope, and inspiration" from Ralph Bunche, a Black American who helped mediate the end of the First Arab-Israeli War. Relating to Bunche's story, Williams says, "we must never despair, even when a situation like this looks hopeless."
