A family member of mine recently passed away, and requested that I record Amazing Grace, to be played at her celebration of life. This song is certainly a great reminder of the grace that God shows each of us, and especially for her, as she is now in heaven with Jesus.
It is of course a classic hymn and I hope you enjoy my rendition of it on the dulcimer! For those who are curious, I'm tuned to AEAE (so like a baritone with an extra high string). For most of the song I'm in the key of A, and later transition up and octave, and for the last time through I switch to the key of D.
