The exhibition Shahrzad Ghaffari: Journey to Oneness (22 April - 1 October 2022) presents a curated selection of rarely seen works from the last fifteen years of Shahrzad’s career, exploring themes of love, spirituality and identity.
This film features artist Shahrzad Ghaffari in conversation with Narguess Farzad, Senior Lecturer on Persian Studies, discussing their mutual admiration for Rumi's poetry and Shahrzad's desire to engage with viewers through 'more questions than answers'. It includes an emotional artist statement on one of Shahrzad's most personal works, 'Lion and Sun'.
