Diwali at University of Exeter: A Festival of Light, Laughter, and Unity on Campus

Our recent Diwali celebrations at the University of Exeter’s Streatham Campus were a radiant showcase of light, warmth, and togetherness.

More than just a festival, Diwali at Exeter was co-created with our students as a heartfelt celebration to share joy, culture, and connection across our community. The event was alive with colour and energy - from vibrant performances and authentic Indian food to creative activities that brought students, staff, and the wider community together.

It was a celebration that reflected the heart of Exeter: an open, welcoming, and supportive community where everyone can belong and celebrate who they are.
