Let's end the final service video in the West Midlands before we waltz our way to Wythall. Let's save the best for last (in my humble opinion) with a dying breed across the country. A titular Transbus Trident: 4590 BU04BLN.
New in 2004. BU04BLN was new to Travel West Midlands as 4590, one of a total of 30 Tridents. Delivered new to Wolverhampton garage, before transferring to Yardley Wood, and lastly Walsall garage. 4590 is now the oldest Trident of the 14 remaining Tridents in Birmingham, where all bar 3 are based at Walsall.
Our journey sees us on Route 6 which runs from Walsall Bus Station to Sutton Coldfield, Gracechurch Centre via Mellish Road, Longwood Bridge, Aldridge, Little Aston, Mere Green & Four Oaks. Though due to a road closure, we were diverted between Walsall & Aldridge via Lichfield Road.
4590 is powered by a Euro 3 Cummins ISC8.3 engine coupled to a ZF Ecomat 5HP502 5-speed automatic gearbox. And if you enjoy some partly-diverted Trident action with some possible kickdown action. I hope you like this video too.
