Floating Eye Balls Cake
Ingredients:
-Black Buttercream    • How to Frost a Cake with Homemade Buttercr...  
-Prepared vanilla cake batter coloured green, orange, white and purple, in piping bags     • Easy Homemade Vanilla Cake from Scratch: V...  
-Chocolate ganache    • How to Fill & Torte a Cake: Simple Chocola...  
-Gumball eye balls
-Gummy eye balls
-Bloody witch fingers (recipe below)
-Skeleton bones (recipe below)

Procedure:
1. Prepare witch fingers and skeleton bones.
2. Preheat oven to 350F/180C.  Grease two 8" round cake pans. 
3. Squeeze cake batters from piping bags into the cake pans, evenly dividing the colours between the two pans. 
4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until cake is golden brown and baked through.  Allow cake to cool completely on wire racks.
5. Once the cakes have cooled, place one leveled half on a cake board or plate, and cover with black buttercream.  Place second half on top, and cover entire cake in black buttercream.
6. Pour ganache on top of the cake and work towards the edges with an offset spatula, being careful not to push the ganache over the edges. 
7. Place eyeballs into ganache and press down so that they look like they are floating.  
8. Alternate bones and fingers around the outside of the cake.  
9. You can store the cake for 2-3 days in a sealed container in the fridge. 
 
Skeleton Bones:
Ingredients:
-White chocolate (melted)
-Pretzel sticks
-Mini marshmallows

Procedure:
1. Dip ends of pretzel stick into mini marshmallows and set aside to harden on a piece of parchment paper or silicone mat.  Repeat for 25-30 bones. 
2. Drop pretzels and marshmallow bones into the melted chocolate, and using a fork or chocolate tool, remove the bone from the white chocolate. Set aside to harden and repeat until all bones are covered in chocolate.  
3. Once hardened, remove excess chocolate with a sharp knife.
4. Place onto cake as needed. 

Witch Fingers
Ingredients:
-Light green candy melts (I used Wilton Vibrant Green) 
-Large pretzel rods 
-Whole almonds (blanched)
-Red piping gel 

Procedure:
1. Melt chocolate and place some in a piping bag, and some in a tall narrow container.  
2. Using the chocolate in the piping bag, pipe a layer of chocolate where the witches knuckles would be.  Allow to harden. 
3. Once knuckles are hardened, dip pretzel rod into the melted chocolate in the tall container.  Let excess chocolate drip off, and then press an almond onto the top of the of the pretzel for the finger nail.   Allow to harden on a piece of parchment paper or silicone mat.  Repeat for 10-15 fingers. 
4. Once candy melts have hardened, score knuckles for wrinkles with a sharp knife.  Brush cut chocolate off with a small paint brush.  Accent the wrinkles with red piping gel, and also draw the piping gel around the base of the nail, and up onto the cuticles.
