In a nutshell, Sofia Bread and Pastries is not your ordinary hole-in-the-wall bakery. Aside from freshly baked breads, they are known for their pan de coco, Spanish roll and cheese bread, a trio of delicious variants brimming with heartwarming fillings. These recipes came from a generous line of bakers that goes back to the 1960s where everything is done within the comforts of their house.
One of Sofia’s bestseller is the pan de coco. It is their own version of the dinner roll except that it is filled with sweetened coconut filling and is usually eaten as a dessert or snack. Theirs on the other hand is a step higher than the conventional: the dough is soft and moist while the coconut stuffing is generous enough that it melts in your mouth.
Breads and pastries aside, Sofia was also able to expand their menu by offering a rather unique twist to the pizza and hamburger.
