Institut de France: The Protector of Arts, Literature and Science. Institute of France.
The French Institute, created in 1795, brought five of France’s academies. The most prestigious of these is the Académie Française. The Institut manages prestigious foundations and museums such as the Château de Chantilly, the Musée Jacquemart-André and the Abbaye Royale de Chaalis.it also award prizes and subsidies.
