Birds of prey in the wild - bald eagles, red-shouldered hawk, osprey, and barred owl sightings at Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland, Florida. I saw some feeding and some taking a break to preen and rest. These raptors are always ready to hunt for their next meal whether it be fish, reptiles, small mammals, birds, crustaceans, or insects. Wildlife lower on the food chain beware! In between feedings these stunning raptors are preening feathers, resting, and protecting their territory.
