Aspects for Contemplation
1. What is the overall condition that I feel within me today?
Do I sense any emotional residue from yesterday that needs attention today?
How can I move through today’s interactions without adding new impressions?
2. Before the evening cleaning today, observe yourself without judgement or self-criticism.
Which moments today created an emotional reaction within me?
Where did I notice likes, dislikes, or desires colouring my responses?
After the cleaning, observe your inner state.
Is there any interaction that still carries a charge? Can I sense it easing now?
What changed in my inner condition after cleaning?
3. Recall a recent interaction that began neutrally but later disturbed you.
At what exact moment did a reaction arise within me? What thought or feeling added the emotional charge? How did my body and heart respond at that moment?
Sit with that experience again, calmly.
What emotion still lingers when I remember it now? Does the memory feel light, or does it carry weight? Where do I sense this impression within myself?
4. Recall something that triggered you recently and caused an emotional reaction. Observe yourself objectively.
Have I reacted in the same way before?
Do I notice a pattern repeating itself?
How might revisiting this memory without cleaning be reinforcing it?
5. Think of a challenge or misery you are facing or have faced. Reflect.
Am I resisting this experience, or allowing it to teach me something?
How might this difficulty help exhaust an old impression?
What would acceptance with understanding feel like in this situation?
6. Reflect on your current inner state.
Which impressions seem to recur most often in my life?
Do I notice greater neutrality in situations that once disturbed me?
Where do I sense increasing freedom from conditioning?
