The Alder Centre:
The UK first purpose built bereavement centre. Based at Alder Hey we offer counseling, holistic therapies, support groups and therapeutic breaks to bereaved families and anyone affected by the death of a child. Also Child Death Helpline is run from The Alder Centre which a national helpline for anyone affected by the death of a child of any age, under any circumstances not matter if recent or long ago. All handlers are trained bereaved parent who volunteer their time to be there for others.
The Alder Centre will holding a gala dinner in November to fundraise ensuring the continuation of these valuable supports.
