I’m deep in the forest, searching for its hidden secrets, moving slowly and observing what most people pass by without noticing. Over three days of filming, the landscape transformed dramatically — thick fog wrapped the trees in silence, then snow fell and softened every sound, before heavy rain arrived and stripped the scene back to its raw truth. Each shift in weather revealed a different character of the forest, as if it was testing my patience and intent. When I returned to collect the trail camera I’d left behind earlier, I discovered something truly unexpected — a fleeting moment captured when no one was watching, proof that the forest holds its own stories and will only share them on its own terms.
