Team HF - Conflict: Global Storm Tutorial 15 - Mission 12: Showdown

Showdown is the second of the two maps in the game that allows you to score a high number of stealth kills (with the first one being the Betrayal Mission). If you go through the mission as stealthy as possible, you will make your life a lot easier.

In this mission the enemy is an elite mercenary group led by Hans Klerber. They have occupied a bank and are protecting a large mansion where Strachen and Klerber are holding hostages. They are elite soldiers and they will most likely kill you if you get in a face to face firefight with them. They can outnumber you really fast and they wear body armor, so don't even think getting up close. The best way to do this is by moving in such a way that you are on their side or their backs.

There are two Tanks in the mission, both of which are covered by a large force of enemy commandos, RPG snipers and Snipers, from multiple angles. This makes it difficult to approach the positions or kill the tanks without getting into trouble first. Eliminate the over-watch first, then the armor. Otherwise you're as good as dead.

Some of the enemy commandos are armed with specialist weapons for the first time such as the UMP and G36K. These weapons are more effective than the standard AK47 and the UZI. Klerber himself is armed with a super-shotgun, Jackhammer. He is very easy to kill from a distance or with a grenade, but will chase you down if you get close.

Lastly, when you get to the end where the garage is, watch your fire. You don't want to kill the hostages or Strachen.

After this mission, Strachen will reveal Mandel's whereabouts and you will be sent on a mission to eliminate him and end this once and for all.
