SmartESS App Changed Everything for My MPP Solar Inverter!

Still using the Smart Client App to monitor your inverter? It’s time to switch to SmartESS – the new and improved app for MPP Solar, Voltronic, and EASUN inverters with WiFi Plug Pro Module.

In this video, I’ll show you how to:
Install the SmartESS app
Log in with your existing WatchPower WiFi credentials
Monitor your inverter in real-time
View energy flow, PV and battery data, and historical charts
Configure settings like:
Battery Type
Cut-off Voltage
Float/Bulk Charging Voltage
Max Charging Current
Max AC Charging Current
Also learn how to change Output Source Priority in “Basic Settings”:
USB (Utility → Solar → Battery)
SUB (Solar → Utility → Battery)
SBU (Solar → Battery → Utility)

📌 If you haven’t configured your WiFi Plug Pro Module yet:
Connect your mobile phone to the inverter’s WiFi network and use the Toolbox menu inside the SmartESS app to complete the setup.

The app also provides deep insights into:

AC Output Voltage
Battery Capacity %
PV Input Voltage & Current
Daily & Total Power Generation
Grid Voltage & Output Power
Battery Charge & Discharge Rates
