Day in my Life | Amazon Software Engineer in Vancouver, 3D Printing Projects

Two years ago, I was an intern at Amazon. Now I’m back full-time as a Software Engineer in Vancouver and today I’m showing you what my work + life balance looks like!

In this Day in the Life as an Amazon Software Engineer, I’ll take you through a typical day of coding, mentoring new interns, and dealing with tricky dependency conflicts (a.k.a. package/version hell). I also share my journey from Amazon internship to full-time engineer, what I wish I had done differently in school, and the challenges of making friends in your 20s while working in tech.

The second half of my day is unboxing and setting up my first 3D resin printer, learning 3D modeling on Nomad Sculpt, and printing my own figurines. I’ve always loved crafts, toys, and blind box collectibles, so diving into 3D printing projects has been an exciting way to combine creativity with tech.
